With beautiful weather finally here, smoothies are the perfect way to get a lot of essential nutrients in single, refreshing drinks. To enhance your natural energy in the mornings, try this delicious green smoothie and start your day right! This smoothies for energy and skin.

Smoothies For Energy and Skin

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk (plus filtered water if desired)
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1-2 cups of green (ie, baby spinach, arugula, parsley, etc.)
  • 1 teaspoon of matcha powder
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 3-5 ice cubes

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender on high for 30 seconds.
  2. Enjoy. Serves 1.

Here are some optional, additional ingredients you can add for extra energy and nutrition:

  • Unsweetened coconut flakes
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Spirulina powder
  • Liquid chlorophyll
  • Bee pollen
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Cocoa beans
  • Ground flax seeds
  • Linseed
  • Coconut oil
  • Maca powder
